Miniature Hexagonal Paper Lantern

A simple, mesmerizing paper lantern. The admiral blue hexagonal outline is filled with a lighter blue vellum paper. Simple geometries can make powerful visuals. A hexagon divided into three rhombuses (or is it rhombi?) gives the illusion of a cube or a flower of six rhombuses. Whilst glueing cardstock with narrow lines is challenging, the end result of delicacy adds to its visual. The lantern is converted from a flat piece of paper into the 3D cylinder with minimal seams.
